Delicious Celery Bok Choi Spinach Stir-Fry

Looking for a quick and healthy dish that packs a nutritional punch? This celery bok choi spinach stir-fry is the perfect choice. It’s simple to prepare and loaded with vitamins and minerals. Plus, it’s a great way to enjoy your vegetables in a flavorful way. Let’s dive in!

Ingredients

To make this delicious stir-fry, you’ll need the following ingredients:

  • 1 cup of celery, sliced
  • 1 bunch of bok choi, chopped
  • 2 cups of fresh spinach
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: sesame seeds for garnish

Preparation

Step 1: Prepare the Vegetables

Before you start cooking, it’s important to have all your vegetables prepped and ready to go. Slice the celery into thin pieces, chop the bok choi into bite-sized pieces, and wash and drain the spinach. Mince the garlic cloves finely.

Step 2: Heat the Oil

In a large skillet or wok, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the minced garlic and sautรฉ for about 30 seconds until it becomes fragrant. Make sure to keep an eye on it to prevent burning.

Cooking Process

Step 3: Cook the Celery and Bok Choi

Add the sliced celery to the skillet and stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes. The celery should start to soften but still retain some crunch. Next, add the chopped bok choi and continue to stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until the bok choi leaves are tender.

Step 4: Add the Spinach

Now, it’s time to add the fresh spinach to the skillet. Spinach cooks very quickly, so stir-fry for just 1-2 minutes until the leaves are wilted. Be sure to stir constantly to ensure even cooking.

Step 5: Season the Stir-Fry

Drizzle the soy sauce and sesame oil over the vegetables. Stir well to combine all the flavors. Season with salt and pepper to taste. If you like a bit of extra crunch, you can sprinkle some sesame seeds on top as a garnish.

Serving Suggestions

Your celery bok choi spinach stir-fry is now ready to serve! This dish pairs wonderfully with steamed rice or quinoa for a complete meal. You can also serve it as a side dish alongside your favorite protein, such as grilled chicken or tofu.

Tips for Success

  • Adjust the Seasoning: Feel free to adjust the amount of soy sauce and sesame oil based on your taste preference.
  • Add Protein: To make this stir-fry a more substantial meal, consider adding some sliced chicken, shrimp, or tofu.
